Xina padded into the area. Her mother being Fresco and her father being sly, Xina knew her way around Dark Males. Infact being the seed of Sly she was mostly Dark. To the thought she let out a chuckle.
Xina had walked fully to the bottom of the area and sat in the middle of the clearing. She didnt make a sound. She just waited, waited to see how long it would take these fools before they even noticed she was here ...

Suddenly, out of the shadows, five wolves cirlcled in on her. One was a massiv eblack male. One was a brown wolf. One was white. One was grey. One was red. All flashed sharp teeth, and claoed in, not uttering a sound.
What doth a maiden such as yourself want with a group of distasteful bandits like us?
Called one. It was a male, and he had a reddish brown pelt. He was small, lithe, and his molten silver eyes shone in the shadows as he spoke. His words, while innocent enough were spat as venemous insults.

The black wolf looked at her, his cool mercury eyes flashing. The ivory female looked at the gaurd carefully before laughing. It was a cold, bitter laugh like ice shattering.
But I must here correct you. For we are not rogues, and if you are like us then you are most misfortunate.
Scoffed the smae red wolf. He also had glaringly silver eyes. His handsome face was curled into a sneer, and his ears were pricked forward. Despite his small size, he showed no fear. He stepped boldly, and walked confidently.
As for being tense; I always tense up before a murder. I suppose a side affect of being a specialist in genocide and homocide. Perhaps you are farmiliar with my lover, death?
This morbid comment came from the ivory female. She cocked her eye brow, lifting her lips to show ivory teeth. Her eyes were also silver.
Looking throuhg the group, one might notice how small all of them were. They were all small wolves with silver eyes. The smallest was easily the russet wolf that had first spoken. Then the ivory wolf that had commentted second. She was followed by a threateningly slick looking black wolf. Then another deep brwon wolf with large mucles and scars. The largest, but still a small wolf, was a pure white wolf with an unnerving stare.
Choose you battels, brother.
The brown wolf was looking directly at the female wolf and she narrowed her eyes slightly, but said nothign.

Xina looked to the wolves simply but said nothing for awhile. She just sat watching the pairs, measuring there status and what nots. She was about to speak but her voice trailed off at the sound of new paw steps. "There's more of them?" she thought to herself, but it wasnt ... Spitz walked in

Oh look. Here cometh another bother. It is as if we are honey atracting younglings like flies. How becoming.
The snide remark slit through the air on a barbed tounge. The comment came from the russet wolf again.
Enough, brother. You humor them with your speech.
The black wolf shot the reddish one a sharp look. But the other wolf merely shrugged, and feigned a yawn. He narrowed his eyes at Spitz. But before he could say anythign one of the other wolves spoke up. It was the white one, that looked as if dirt had never marred his snow white pelt.
Who might either of you be, oh beauteous wolves?
His voice was a deep rumble that dripped in sarcasm and venom. The stocky brown wolf narrowed his silver eyes and bared kinfe like fangs.

Xina rolled her eyes to the brutes and said "Your cleaver ways wont work on me" Then looking from them she looked to Spitz. But only for a split second, looking back to the five wolves she said "Im Xina. And you all ... "

That is neither here nor there. Names are merely labels,
Said the tawny wolf airily, his silver eyes amused. As he spoke, the other wolves seemed to tense for a moment. But when he finished adressing the others, another wolf, a stocky chocolate colored one, bared his teeth in a wolfish grin. He had teeth that were uncharacteritically long, and pointed, as if his had shaprened them. He did not, however make any advance, as the black wolf threw him a disgusted look. It seemed as if these wolves worked together, each ones movement or spoken words fitting with the others thoughts.
Pardon my brothers impertinence to thee,
Said the black wolf in a short, cold tone. He had an oddly eerie and commanding air about him, as if being to close to him would put chills through one. His bark was a rasping low one that was a little rusty. From lack of use? Or from Inheritence?
Though these wolves called each other brothers, they could not be more different. Even the female was called a brother, which was odd. She was a lithe ivory creature with a stripe of black down her back. The next wolf over was a stockily built dark brown wolf. His neighbor was a pure white wolf, with a cold sneer and light looking bones. The wolf that spoke the most was a scrawnily built redish brown wolf, while the seemingly leader of the group was a lithe black wolf.
The only similarities between the five were their small builds; smaller than most wolves seen in this part of the forests. The toehr thing was that all of them had peircing mercury eyes.
I am Jaguarstrike, brother of the bear. This is Dragonfire, brother of the panther. This is Jokermagik, brother of the serpent. This is brother Trickstersong, of the eagle. This is Scornwind, brother of the horse.
The wolf that spoke was the black wolf, and though he made no signal as to who was who, he did take a small step forward before he spoke. Suddenly one of the other wolves spoke, one that they must have heard all to much from already.
What odd names thy people have here. Of what is your brotherhood?
It was the tawny wolf, giving them all a very confused look. The others exchanged glances, but the chocolate coloured wolf looked intrested, as did the female.

Xina watched in amusment as the wolves took there turns to speak. It was like they were all one wolf, but some how split to five. She tried to match names with faces. Some looked like a name might fit them. But she wasnt sure.
As the wolves thoughts stopped she dipped her head as if saying she understood. Although she did not. She let out a sigh as she watched them. Then out of the corner of her eye she watched as Spitz shadow disapeard. She also heard the call of another wolf , His alpha possibly.

Of what brother hood are you?
Snapped the white wolf. He had not yet spoken, but when he did the sound that was emitted was shocking. It reminded most of taking a plunge into the arctic. His voice was cold and sarcastic, laced with impatience for the enitre world.
Oh, sod off. And Jagurastrike. Shame. You left out who was who.
This came from teh female. She gave the other owlf an odd glance, then said,
I am brother Trickstersong. Yonder dark brown brother is Dragonfire. The rapscallion you were speaking to was red brother Jokermagik. This white brotehr is called Scornwind my most.
WHen she spoke the brown one flicked his ear at her in a annoyed manner, and the tawny wolf let out his barking laugh. But they seemed to all exchange glances, almost as if reading eacothers minds.

Xina tried to learn faces and match them to names but it was hopless. She would have to learn voices with names instead. She nodded her head to each name then said "Glad to know" for she didnt know what else to say

This time, the tawny wolf spoke. His voice was cold and injected wiht impatience. The otehr wolves all exchanged glances, but looked at her, ten silver eyes burning into her questioningly.

For example, when I was named, I was named for the eagle. My personality and skills matched, and I am the first eagle of our regiment. Don't you have a brotherhood?
This time the ivory wolf, who had identified herself as Trickstersong spoke. She had given the tawny wolf a sharp look, clearly signaling him not to speak.

The five wolves all glanced at each other. They were so different; a white wolf, and ivory wolf, a brown wolf, a red wolf, and a black wolf. Finally, the mouthy red one spoke in his raspy voice.
It had been done. Training and a naming ceremony would be in order however. You wolves have such odd names here.
The black wolf snorted, and the white one tossed his head scornfully. But the chocolate wolf looked thoughtful, and the ivory one shot the other ones reproving glances. The sassy red one looked at the two wolves.
You too?
He asked the other, male wolf scornfully, and tiredly. He knew that if he talked his sivler eyed brother, Jaguarstrike, these two would make good pack gaurds. Or so he hoped, because if not, the heartless others would murder them in a flash. He and Trickstersong, had slightly softer hearts, and always paused before a muder while the others just... killed.

"Yes well still" Xina said with a short snort. She watched as all of the wolves exchanged glances. She wondered what was going through there minds. Yet everything she came up with made no since.
Letting out another snort she said "So what must I do to get a "normal" name like yours?"
